Product Safety
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD — Small parts. Not intended for children under 3 years of age.
Keep earrings, backs, charms, packaging and other small components away from babies and young children.
Children should not handle, insert, remove or wear earrings without appropriate adult supervision. An adult should regularly check that the earrings and backs remain securely fastened and are not loose, bent or damaged.
Discontinue use immediately if any component becomes loose, damaged or broken. Do not place earrings or their components in the mouth.
Flat screw-backs are designed for comfort and secure everyday wear; however, no earring back or closure can be guaranteed to remain attached under every circumstance.
Sensitive Ears and Skin Reactions
Our earrings are selected with sensitive ears in mind and are described as hypoallergenic, nickel-free and lead-free based on the product and material information available to us.
“Hypoallergenic” means that a product is designed to reduce the likelihood of a reaction. It does not guarantee that every person will be free from irritation or an allergic response.
Everyone’s skin and sensitivities are different. Discontinue wearing the earrings if redness, swelling, itching, discomfort or another reaction occurs. Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional if a reaction is severe or continues.

Materials and Finishes
Product materials and finishes are identified in each product description. Material descriptions may include 18K gold PVD-coated medical-grade stainless steel, stainless steel, enamel, crystals or other decorative components.
Natural differences in skin chemistry, frequency of wear, care practices, cosmetics, chemicals and environmental exposure may affect how a product wears over time.
Waterproof Products and Care
Our waterproof earrings are designed for normal everyday exposure to water, including showering and swimming.
Exposure to chlorine, saltwater, soaps, cosmetics, perfumes, cleaning products and other chemicals may affect the appearance and longevity of jewelry over time. Rinse earrings after exposure to chlorine or saltwater and dry them thoroughly.
“Waterproof” does not mean that the finish is guaranteed to remain unchanged indefinitely or that the earrings are resistant to every chemical or environmental condition.
Product Images and Measurements
We make every reasonable effort to display product colors, sizes and details accurately. However, colors may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.
Because some items are measured by hand, minor measurement variations may occur. Decorative patterns, stones and enamel details may also vary slightly between individual pieces.
Purchases for Children
Orders should be placed by an adult. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether an earring style and size are appropriate for their child and for supervising its use.
Our website and email signup forms are not intended for use by children under 13. Children should not submit personal information, create accounts or place orders.
Proper Use
Our products are intended to be worn as earrings only. The Girly Squad Shop is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from misuse, improper handling, failure to follow care and safety instructions, or continued use of a loose, damaged or broken product.
Nothing in this notice limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
